Today, Discountable pauses to honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.
For me, this day is deeply personal. I come from a family of service. I am a disabled veteran. My mother served. My grandfather served as a Tuskegee Airman. My husband served. And my son is currently serving.
Memorial Day is not just a long weekend. It is a sacred reminder that freedom has always carried a cost, and that some families have paid that cost in ways words can never fully capture.
At Discountable, our mission is rooted in support, dignity, and community care. Today, we remember those who never came home, honor the families who carry their legacy, and recommit ourselves to building tools that help people support one another with clarity and compassion.
